Wildlife Experts Receive Training in Antigo - Wassau Channel 7

A team of wildlife specialists from Istanbul, Turkey, is in Antigo, training at the Raptor Education Center. The group, made up of a veterinarian and 2 bioligists, is in the process of founding the first ever wild life rehabilitation center in Turkey. The team of wildlife experts are wrapping up a 2 week stay at R.E.G.I., where they have learned techniques to better care for injured birds. "The process that is being applied here, is very important for us to see because it could be a role model for our center there in Turkey", explained Turkish Biologist, Onder Crick. The group hopes to have the wildlife rehabilitation center in Istanbul up and running by World Animal Day on October 4th.
